In 1961, sodomy
and homosexual behavior were crimes in all 50 states, and homosexuals
have been excluded from military service for more than 375 years
of American history. Man-to- man sex is the primary cause for the
spread of AIDS and the majority of serious sexually transmitted
diseases in America, yet the headlines in the Los Angeles Times
on January 8, 1993, screamed, "Clinton Aides Urge Quick End
to Military Ban on Homosexuals."
General Colin Powell, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and
an opponent of homosexuals openly serving in the military, said
that if then President-elect Bill Clinton followed through on his
campaign pledge, "We must conform to that policy. The debate
will be over." But in response to a midshipman at the Naval
Academy who said that a majority of midshipmen believe that homosexuality
is immoral, General Powell added, "If it strikes at the heart
of your moral beliefs, then you have to resign." Why this radical
change in America's way of life? Should homosexuals be allowed to
openly serve in America's military when THERE ARE NO MILITARY REASONS
TO REMOVE THE BAN? Military Necessity & Homosexuality is
a military, legal, medical, and historical examination of the
most serious crisis to face America and its armed forces in peacetime.
Each member of our military is also faced with a serious professional
and personal dilemma of conscience. How did we come to this crisis?

Military
Necessity & Homosexuality reveals the truth about the deception,
disinformation, and the motives behind the larger agenda of the
homosexual movement: to force acceptance of their "lifestyle"
through the military, and subvert or overturn the principles on
which America was founded and which have made America the most prosperous
nation on the earth.
Colonel Ronald
D. Ray, in his book Military Necessity and Homosexuality,
explores the roots and nature of the homosexual movement in America
and makes a compelling legal, medical, and historical case for retaining
America's 375 year old ban against homosexuals openly serving in
the military services. Col. Ray's well-researched case puts into
perspective this most recent push by gay rights activists and feminists
to see homosexuals enlist and serve openly in the military. The
larger agenda is to convert or overturn America's soul and spirit.
"... by
conversion, we actually mean something more profoundly threatening
to the American way of life. We mean conversion of the average American's
emotions, mind and will, through a planned psychological attack.
We mean 'subverting' the mechanism of prejudice to our own ends--using
the very process that made America hate us turn their hatred into
warm regard--whether they like it or not."
--Kirk &
Madsen,After the Ball: How America will Conquer its Fear &
Hatred of Homosexuals in the 90's, 1989, pages 153-4
- "I believe
[Military Necessity & Homosexuality] to be one of the
most scholarly and authoritative books ever written on homosexuality
in general, and homosexuals in the military in particular. ...
Col. Ray has done our homework for us!"
--J. Lloyd Abbot, Jr., USN, Rear Admiral (Ret.)
- "This
is a must read for all concerned citizens. The gay liberation
movement's purpose is to destroy the rock solid moral foundation
that our country was built upon. Today, they want to serve openly
in the military. Tomorrow, it will be to teach school and run
the nation's child care system.
This riveting
book concisely explains why homosexuals should not openly serve
in our military and why the gay liberation movement must be
destroyed with the same energy, resources and leadership America
used to destroy another enemy: The Soviet Union's Evil Empire--both
are equally, equally wicked.
If President
Bill Clinton enacts law that lifts the military ban, he should
be impeached."
--Col. Davis Hackworth, USA (Ret.), Contributing Editor for
Defense, Newsweek, Most decorated living combat veteran
- "Caution:
Ron Ray has written a book that's sexually explicit, historically
revealing, and politically explosive. It may not change President
Clinton's mind about opening the military to avowed homosexuals,
but if he reads this book, no one can say his eyes weren't open
when he made the call."
--David Evans, Military Affairs Columnist, Chicago Tribune
- "Allowing
homosexuals into the armed forces is another example of the decline
of standards which once defined America. To admit them is not
progress in human affairs--it is the opposite. Read this excellent
book and you will have your eyes opened to another example of
the serious downward trend underway in America and an enlightened
and courageous man's effort to stem the tide."
--Harold M. Voth, M.D., Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst, Rear Admiral
Medical Corps, USNR (Ret.)
